Yupp. Its OVER! :)

I cant believed that we had actually spend 4 months of planning for this OD event. Other comm perhaps only more involved only during the last 1 month. But the Log Ops Prog Comm really got involved throughout.For me i zuo-bo(do nothing) for 1 .5 months cos of House Comm and waiting for confirmation for concert.But i am very active for the last 2 months!=) Though the 2 main managers are the main ones always. hee.

Well, i would not said it was a resounding success. In terms of accomplishing the number of laps, we were VERY FAR from it. Only reached 33890 or 34890 out of 100000. Hopefully this can be advised for OD08 committee to set a more realistic target. Actually expected la. The participation rate.. no one goes after it. so is the blame on everybody or none?hmm.

I never SLEEP for 34 HOURS!! what a feat!! I think all the comm members plus teachers and SVC ppl went to sleep at least for a while. but i didnt at all! WOOTS! Either i am a superwoman or they are normal. hahaha.Quite amazed and puzzled that i could hang for that long! cos usually i get knock off when midnight hits! well done wl :DD heh.

Operations wise.. Ok la.. Can be better. The participations from jjc side from 1230am-4am was splendid. SO MANY COMPLETED 50 LAPS for the gold medal!! Apologies to those who cant get on the spot..cos we seriously didnt expect that much to be able to do so!The info booth was redundant. Waste my effort and money for printing that much. The de-registration booth was very messy when TKSS came. Chaos. And Ms. R from my comm dunno how to brief the shift ppl properly. blah.
The counter and kiosk booth. Wonder if they gave out rubber bands properly. The TKSS students were clocking laps so easily. When jjc students had run/walked their life out. I SALUTE JJC STUDENTS FOR THEIR UTMOST ENDURANCE AND DETERMINATION! =)

The relay breaking part.. dear acjc didnt come. rahh. Nearly made the JC2 died. Almost all of them completed 50 laps earlier on. I contributed 4 or 5 laps to the record too! haha.. BUT. hey. during my last lap, why must you cheer at the last 50m? Not as if i cant hang on. I was perfectly fine,the least tired in the comm. And, i am a TRACKER,a RUNNER. You wont be tired if it is your passion. It made me look so stupid and weak when you did that. As if i cant hang on anymore. Then the JC2 also cheered. They were the ones who were truly tired okay. Get that right. I know thats a form of concern, but sorry, i found that irritating.

Hmm. Managed to gain a lot of experience and learn lessons out of organizing this event. It should be my first one excluding the House Comm Camp. but sad la. don think the teachers know me yet. boo. Nah.. not cos i want get grandiose testimonial.. I like to do backstage stuff.. but i do hope for some noticed for being unnoticed. ha. irony. eschew and decipher that abstract concept yourself ^^

i wanna be a leader. A TRUE LEADER.

but my face is giving me problem. lol .. i mean, the face i have is"you-owe-me-money". You know, when i was running around madly during the event, countless ppl asked if i were alright and" eh, don be so stressed leh" lol.. i were not la.. just that when i am tired/serious, that expression just come out lo.. lol reflex leh. cant change de ^^

i am so apologetic to xiaoxun la.. his band came,and there were like so few audiences?? utter sian man. but i seriously cant hear what they were singing.. lol.. dawn evelyn and the audience appeared to share the same view too.. hmm.. well, cos this was a case of different frequency. They will be good if they are performing for audiences that belong to their same group. ;) but thanks, xiaoxun! haha i still like to call him that. but the first thing that he said to me when we talked was" eh 你最近吃很多啊". rahhhh! lol..

suddenly rmb sth CRC said b4 to the leaders.. "those head-to-toe white ones. very easy to gain pride. so do those at bukit timah ones. but for us, we have got to earn it". hmmm true.. if i am still in njc, i will have a whole lot of different experience.. if i learn to fight there, it will still mostly be limited to acad aspect. however i believed no matter which school i am, there will still be a memorable experience in the end =)

Hmm.. leave TPY for jjc at 8. Then after tt went JP to eat. Actually i were quite reluctant to do so de.but luckily i did!!haha! cos saw him when leaving jp! :DD i thought he were looking and waving at yl & tl, but yl said he were actually doing that to me. he was smiling happily and pointing to a direction saying " qu4 ce4 suo3" hahahahah. yayyyy. wowow. Hmm.. lifted my night. lols. miss him working talking over phone with him la. Dude.. work hard for your As! =)

Last but not least, thanks all OD helpers and comm members! People support is the most vital aspect of event management! +) THANKS!
btw, i will stop posting till CTs are over. really gotta work for it now. till then, take care all :)
