Suddenly got roped in by xinying to work! haha. random~ I was working from 1-8 at Guthrie House Cold Storage as Toblerone Chocolate promoter. It was quite easy lar, just keep asking people to try the chocolates. But something v diao lar. I finished to sell all of those i am supposed to promote,5 of it, then after that gotta ask ppl to buy other stuff. Then, just TEN minutes b4 i ended the job,they suddenly told me they found 2 new box of chocolates.. =.=

I think the sales was rather good ba, given that i never receive training and it is the first time doing front line promoter job =) oh yar i went to treat myself a lot of samples ^^ It also marks the day when i see the most number of angmohs! Really, 90% of the ppl who patronised there are angmohs. It was a rather good thing,haha,cos they are more willing to buy and spent. And yar, you must really speak in english lor. Lols. Even those most china looking people converse in english. Hmm.. I sound so suao-ku ^^ At the end of the day, it only proved one thing - BUKIT TIMAH IS A RICH ESTATE WITH ALL THE UBER RICH PPL! hahah.. But they are quite nice and friendly thou.. =)

When u worked, u will get to see all the uncommon things. There was this uncle who had a conversation with me. Initially i thought that he is just curious and wanna chat a little. But no.. he stayed in the store even after i left. I asked him why wander in the place. He said he got nothing to do,so just walked around. I told him to go chinatown to get absorbed in the cny atmosphere,then he said something funny: "If i go chinatown,the chinese come after me.. if i go golden mile, the thais come after me.. If i go joo chiat, the phillipinos come after me.. so what to do? come here and walk around and nobody disturb me" Hmm he is referring to those womens.. u know what lar..

He just keep walking around and looked at things, or keep chatting with the workers. Then i saw him even trying to arrange the sweets in order, and also trying to help carry pots of flower for the customer. I guess he is just trying to find his sene of utility. It is rather sad isnt it. From the conversation i know that he has a family and daughter, and he appears to be quite well off. So why must a person spent his precious weekend time in the supermarket? oh well..

I am not too sure how much i earned yet. When i get the cheque 2 weeks later then i shall comment. But then ah, promoter job realli don play play. Leg can break de ah~~

4th fEb toDay!

Have track 2.4 trial today. hohohoho clock my 2nd Personal Best of life. The best PB was during sec 2.. -.- but it just have subtle difference. So the timing is 12.49. I know if any other jcs track ppl see this, they will laugh off their head, but i have really not smell 12 for a very long time. I did this with 2 great element of help. First, the V NICE WEATHER! It is the best kind of weather that any runner will want to ask for. 2nd, engngee paced me for the last 2 rounds.It was of great help! cos usually the last 2 rounds, i will lag behind by alot. Many thanks to him that i managed to maintain the time for last 2 laps =))

I guess w/o this 2 elements, i will not achieve this at all. (errr is it an achievement? lol). I think if i run 2.4 next monday, it will be worse off.. Since trng will stop in view of cny. And my timing is a far cry from jasmine's.. (1120)

so benja,i finally reveal my 2.4 timing. It is still not decent lar, but compared to my previous trials, it is a much obvious improvement already. +)
